We got this as an add on for my son's Oceana trike since that model does not come with a bucket. Kettler basket

I'm happy with the Kettler bike basket. It's cute to hold something small - like a drink or small stuffed friend. The only downside is it is easy take the basket off - it doesn't have any sort of "stay-put" mechanism & if my 1 yr old is getting bored, she pulls the basket off. Well constructed, but comes off easily

If I had it to do again I would not buy this basket; the yellow storage bucket at the back provides ample storage room, and the basket is just something that comes off easily and frustrates both my toddler and me. My son loves this Kettler basket! Since the basket does not need to be permanently attached to handlebars, he puts it on his Air Happy Kettrike and Kettler Bingo bike. Great for the Air Navigator

Works perfectly with the Kettler Air Navigator. The basket is small - but then so is the trike! We can put quite a few small library books in it, or a few truckes for the park, so it is practical. Basket for my Kettrike® Jumbo

Easy on and easy off. Once you have something in the basket or you stop touching it, it won't move - even on bumpy terrain, but when you brush by the bike, it may pop off if you hit it just right. I like this and I hate it at the same time. I like that I can take it off so darn easily and it goes back on just as easy (basically it attaches simply by hooking onto the handle bars.)It's nice having a basket up front, my daughter loves putting her toys, dandelions, rocks, etc. up front where she can see them.
Side note: if you handle bars don't got pretty much straight across, this is the wrong basket for your bike, get a different one.

Poorly designed

This basket works fine with my Kettrike (I can't remember the model, but it's the basic $120 model), but it falls off ALL THE TIME. I'm giving it a 3 star review because this basket only works if you zip-tie it to the darn bike, LOL! Doesn't work on my Kettrike Air Happy Trike

I have the Kettrike Air Happy tricycle, which my 2-year-old daughter loves. However this basket falls off with the slightest jarring of the tricycle. I used garbage bag ties to keep it on which isn't so bad. We purchased this basket for my two year old's Kettler Kettrike Air Happy Tricycle. The basket fits just perfectly on the handle bars. It isn't too large or too small, just right for the tricycle's size and even leaves room for the Kettler bell.For all of the negative previous reviews, why rate the seller and not the PRODUCT itself here??? If you've got a problem with Amazon, complain about them on THEIR ratings not the basket's!!! This is a great basket! Maybe next time try contacting the manufacturer about accessories before you buy!

I too have just become aware that this basket does not fit the Kiddio-3 trike! It came up as an accessory item while ordering this item. We just tried to put the basket on the trike, as everyone else just said, it does not fit! I'm very frustrated with this! I usually always read the reviews on items before I buy them. In this case I didn't because it was an accessory item and I never thought Amazon would have this listed if it was incorrect, especially seeing as they have been made aware of this problem! I will be calling them tomorrow, and I hope that they will be good about returning it. I refuse to pay for the shipping, the basket itself only cost $10. I purchased in good faith the Kiddi-0 Supertrike 3 and the Blue Metal Baskets for Kettrikes. Both items were on the same page. I found out that the baskets do not fit this bike. I called Kettler International and was told that Amazon.com was asked to correct this ad, but has not. The sad part even though it was their mistake they would not return my shipping to me. They indicated I should have not ordered the baskets. But they were listed on the same page. Simple. This basket does not fit the supertrike 3, even though amazon promoted it as an accessory to the trike. Maybe I'm too dumb to figure it out, but this basket certainly does not fit on the Kiddi-o Supertrike 3. It can be loosely hung on the front of the handlebars, but was obviously designed to fit a different trike.
