Fisher-price Laugh And Learn Shop And Learn Walker Reviews
Way Too Loud!
bayareamommy from San Jose, CA USA - 1 out of 5.
This toy is cute and all, but Way too loud! Even on it's lowest setting it made my ears ring and my daughter cry! She liked the toys that come with it ok when it was turned off, but still was not able to walk with it. It is unstable and falls backward easily as other reviews have stated. Also, there is a big warning on Amazon's page for this item that states "Warning: Chocking Hazard - Small parts, not for children under age 3yrs." It is just too expensive ($[...] US) to put up with issues like this. I returned this one for the Hasbro Playskool Step Start Walk 'n Ride. It changes from a walker push toy to a push car toy for when she is older. It is much more affordable($[...] US) and durable, and our daughter *loves* it.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
Best walker we've found-- virtually untippable, rolls well
J. Turner from BFT, SC United States - 5 out of 5.
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3E4LO1GJ0X4ZT This walker is the best one out there that we've found. Our son had previously owned two others, but after he actually started standing, we found they were useless-- didn't roll on carpet, pace was ridiculously fast for a beginner, or they tipped over when he used it for standing support. This product is an excellent value and far more useful than the more expensive walkers we have owned. Highly recommended, excellent quality and value.Only cons: doesn't turn easily and the shapes are easily misplaced/lost-- but that can be said of any children's toy.

Best Shopping Cart in the World!!
Kimberly D. Adams from New York, NY - 4 out of 5.
My godson loves this toy. He is 9 months old and he is not crawling or walking yet. I thought I would give this toy a try since it is the only walker I could find that has widely spread apart legs, a roomy area by the handle bar for him to move his legs/walk, and big sturdy wheels. Well, as soon as he got his hands on the toy, he was cruising around the house at full speed, with minimal guidance/support from an adult. His facial expression was so excited and happy. He loved the music; dancing and trying to sing everytime he would hear the songs. The adults appreciated the volume control and the variety in musical rhythms. I also appreciated the shortness in the tunes, just a few seconds of tunes and it turns off untill the shape sorter or shaker on the shaopping cart is touched again. It's a great toy, but constant supervision is recommended. On wooden floors it goes so fast that brakes would be useful, but of course there are no brakes. I think it would be safer on carpeted flooring. Overall, I enjoyed seeing my godson happily content with his Christmas gift.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
My Grandson Loves This Toy!
D. Jackson from West Chester, PA USA - 5 out of 5.
I purchased this toy for my 12-month old grandson for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. He scoots all around the house pushing his cart along. He goes so fast that we can't even get a video. He doesn't walk on his own yet so the excitement he gets from walking with this cart is priceless. I would recommend this toy to everyone looking for the perfect walker.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
Lots of fun!
Blair Johnson from Los Angeles, CA USA - 4 out of 5.
We received this as a gift when our son was 9 months old. He had been cruising for two months and had just started pushing chairs around the house so he could move more freely. We hoped this would help him gain some more confidence, and be a toy he can keep playing with after he's walking on his own.Our son loves this. He loves putting things in the basket, taking them out, sharing, putting them back in. I added some of his smaller toys and a container of puffs into the shopping cart. He hasn't tipped the cart at all, and he's about 23-24 lbs.
Great toy, and I hope we can keep playing "shopping" with it once he's walking!

Great Walker!
Melissa A. Paden from Kansas - 5 out of 5.
I bought this for my daughter when she was 7 months old because she started pulling up on furniture and cruising around our home. Within the day that it arrived, she learned how to pull herself up and walk behind it. It only tipped on her once before she got the hang of it and now she loves "shopping" around our living room. I love this toy! She is nine months old now and still loves playing with it. It comes with 4 food toys that fit into shaped spots that teach about shapes and colors and 3 extra food toys to go into the cart. I love the three different settings- shopping, learning, and music- and my husband and I both agree that this is one of the best "noisy" toys we have. It isn't annoying because it's not as predictable as most baby toys; there is no set pattern to the noises and songs that play. I would recommend this toy for any child that is pulling up and cruising. And for any family that would like to enjoy seeing a look of terror in their cat's eyes as the baby chases them :)3 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
My daughter LOVES this toy
Susan Alexander from Dupont, WA United States - 5 out of 5.
My daughter is almost 13 months. My mom got this for her when she was about 10-11 months old and very much a prewalker. At that point she didn't care too much for it. Eventually she got her courage up and started pushing it around, but she pushed it sideways to keep it more stable. :) :)Now that she has learned to walk, she LOVES this cart. She pushes it all over the house. She's just starting to use the shape sorter and she loves the little book and rolling beans thing (not sure what you call that) and plays with pretty much every part of this toy. And I doubt she'll stop using it soon.
So I don't think it's that great for a pre-walker, but for a new walker it's awesome!!

My Son's Favorite Toy!
E. M. Compton from Northern California - 5 out of 5.
We purchased the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Shop and Learn Walker for our son for Christmas, when he was almost 9 months old. At this point he wasn't even crawling on his tummy yet. He wasn't able to lean on the cart yet but he did love to play with the toys that go in the cart. They were a perfect size for him to hold with one hand and he really liked to shake them.Around the time he started pulling himself up onto things, at about 10 months he started to pull himself up onto the cart. We keep the cart in his room, which is carpeted so it doesn't roll too fast. The first few times he tried to pull himself up on the cart, it fell over. But it is very light and didn't hurt him at all, just startled him a bit. After a few weeks he was able to pull himself up on the cart while keeping it steady. It taught him some awesome body coordination skills. He enjoyed pulling himself up on the cart and picking the toys out of it and throwing them on the floor.
Around 11 months he started being able to push the cart across the room while walking. He was not walking or standing independently at this point. The cart has been great for teaching in and out opposites as we tell him to put toys in the cart and then take them out again. It is his very favorite toy.
The change of modes is nice but my son tends to prefer the "It's learning time!" mode, and gets annoyed when we change it to one of the other modes. The volume control is great, we try to keep it on the lowest setting for our own sanity and our son hasn't figured out how to flip those switches yet.
This is a really great toy and I do recommend it but with a disclaimer to keep it on the carpet until your child is a confident walker because carpet helps to keep it stable and slow it down.

Good walker, Okay Toy.
M. Taing from US - 4 out of 5.
We got this for my little girl when she was 13 months and could already walk. I thought she and my 4 year old would enjoy using this as a cart for their kitchen and have fun playing with it. It has had very little use. I think as a shopping cart it's wheels and design are bulky. They like the music and songs. And . . . at 16 months the only thing she wants to do is climb up and sit in it! Good thing is this thing IS very sturdy and will NOT TIP easily. I have read other reviews and moms testify this is the best walker they've used. I think if you want it as a walker you should get it. It is very sfe for them to pull-up on. but if you're looking for a shopping cart toy - find something else! : ) hope this helps.3 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
Sturdy Walker!
C. A. - 5 out of 5.
My son LOVES this toy. It is very sturdy...he is 10 months old and about 24 pounds and he has no problem pulling himself up and walking behind this toy. The base is sturdy and provides great support. The wheels go just the right speed and the music/lights/toys that come with the cart are awesome! This is a great toy.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
Great toy!

I purchased this for my son's first birthday. He absolutely loves it! He doesn't do a whole lot with the toys that are included yet, but he really loves to push it around the house. My 3-yr-old son loves it just as much.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
We love this toy!
Melissa Bailey from Central NY - 5 out of 5.
We bought this for our son's first birthday. He absolutely loves it. He is not walking on his own yet and the wide base to the cart makes it sturdy enough for him to pull up on and go by himself. He loves to put the shapes in place and then throw them into the empty part of the shopping cart. The motion sensor is another bonus that interacts with them even if they aren't quite sure how it all works. I think this is something that he will continue to use as he grows. The songs are catchy and it is educational. We're very happy with this product and the value was great!0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
So much fun!!!!!!!!!!
Brenda E. Scotland from Scarborough,Ontario, Canada - 5 out of 5.
This was purchased for my grandson for a xmas gift-he loves it!!!!!!!! He is 8 months old and just getting used to getting himself up. He is able to hold on to the cart and push it in front of him on the carpet. It is a joy to watch him walking with it-it is allowing him to move one foot in front of the other and getting his little legs stonger each time he does it. He also loves to put the items in and out of the cart and hear the different sounds it makes. I purchased most of my toys for him from Amazon.com and was more than pleased with the service and items I chose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Highly recommended.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.

I bought this for my 8 month old for Christmas. She is not ready to walk but loves to stand beside it and play with the toys. Her favorite are the apple and cereal. It seems to be VERY durable I have 3 other children that have had fun playing with this as well.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
Great Push Walker
Windnsea from Miami Beach, Fl - 5 out of 5.
I bought this toy for my 11 month old daughter who is taking a few steps on her own. She loves pushing the cart around and listening to the music. She spends lots of time putting things in and out of the cart. This is a great walker for the price, considering she can also have fun using it for playing when she is not pushing it around.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
Cute toy, very sturdy, granddaughter loves it!
MmeEmile from Bridgewater, MA USA - 5 out of 5.
My 13-month-old granddaughter loves this shopping cart. She really enjoys taking the grocery items out and putting them back in and also uses the cart to transport her "Baby" and "Doggie" and "Monkey" all around the house. The cart is very sturdy, supports her weight when she tries to climb on it (!!!!), and moves freely when she's maneuvering it. We even take it outside. Very cute and typical Fisher-Price quality. Somewhat educational in that she knows all of the items by name and so it's building her vocabulary.0 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.

Mixed feelings about this one.
Ashlee from Miami, FL USA - 4 out of 5.
Although this toy is stury, somewhat educational and seems to be fun for my son I wish we would've gone for a different shopoing cart. He usually just pushes it around, not utilizing the many electronic features. It's rather bulky so it takes up a lot of room, and it's short so my tall 1 year old will outgrow it in no time. If I could do it all over again I would've bought the fun to imagine shopping cart and saved $20.2 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
A Must Have

Unstable
DixieKGirl from Fort Hood, TX - 2 out of 5.
My son is 12 mos old and needs some coaxing to learn how to walk, so I wanted to get him a walk-behind toy to play with instead of the standard sit-in walker which he already has. Ideally I wanted one that would surround him on 3 sides, but I couldn't find one like that anywhere (similar to a friend's) so I got him this one. It was very easy and quick to assemble, I had it together in 5 minutes so that was definitely a plus. I like that it has 3 settings so you can set it to music, sound effects, or learning, and 2 volume settings. It looks sturdy with the wheels being out so wide, but he has fallen backwards 3 times in the one day we've had it, squeezed the red bar to try and hold himself back up and regain his balance, and the shopping cart tips over and lands on top of him. It doesn't seem to cause any additional injury, but scares the bejeses out of him to have that thing land on top of him like that. We'll keep trying because it's the only walk-behind toy I could find after spending an entire day going store to store, but I must say that I am greatly disappointed that this toy intended for use by unstable toddlers who need help with balancing to walk is so unstable itself.7 people voted this review as helpful and 0 people voted this review as unhelpful.
