I ordered this oversized Beanie Baby for our grandson. He loves Blue's Clues and was thrilled with his new "buddy." It arrived in time for Christmas and in excellent condition. We were very pleased.

well made, soft, and much-loved

I bought this for my 3 year old boy, and when opened it he gave it a hug immediately. It's very well made, and feels soft out-of-the-box. It's educational value directly is little to none b/c, of course, it's merely a stuffed animal. However, it perpetuates a positive association with the show itself, and the show IS very educational. So, indirectly, it is educational.

Wonderful Plush Toy!

We bought this toy for our 2 year-old daughter (who is a big Blue's Clues fan) and she just adores it! It is just the right size to fit into a lot of things that our daughter does and so Blue can always be found in her high chair, in her bed, in her potty-chair, in her car seat (buckled in of course), etc. This toy is very durable as well as soft and cuddly. We've already experienced some spills and messes that were easy to clean off (even the dried play-dough up Blue's nose!). I would highly recommend this toy to anyone.

The Blue Review

This stuffed animal is expensive but well worth it to see my 2 y/o's smile! Much better than the crap you see on Ebay! Perfect size for my 2 y/o to carry and sleep with! Read the arms and legs were stiff on the comments on here but there not!!

Son just LOVES it!!

I was a little worried when reading some of the reviews, but this is definitely worth buying if your child loves Blue's Clues. My son is 2 1/2, it is a perfect size - it never leaves his side - we have to take it in the car, in the crib, on the couch...he LOVES it!! It is nice and soft and cuddly, and he carries it around by the ears without causing any damage.

We also bought the small set of three - Blue, Periwinkle, and Magenta - as Liam loves Magenta. These are also a teriffic buy - and perhaps an alternative to getting just the one large Blue.

Super Cute

The guy that I am seeing has been looking all over for a Blues Clue for his 2 year old son. I did a little research and at the time, there was only one, so I jumped on it right away. I read a few reviews and I thought it would be bigger than what a lot of people said.. but honestly, I think it's a perfect size! I can't wait to bring it with me tonight to give to his son! :)

"Mama" Blue

This doll is quite large. My daughter received it as a Christmas gift, and as other reviewers have said, it is a little hard for her to carry around. However, this does not deter her! She has the tiny plush Blue as well, and lugs both around everywhere she goes. The larger one has been dubbed "Mama Blue" and then there is "Baby Blue." She has us dress Mama Blue and when she goes along with us, she is buckled into her seat belt, goes to the park, plays with her toys, and has tea parties. Very durable. We have not washed her yet, but the small one has been through several baths and washing machine cycles and is holding up well, so I imagine this one will also. Great bargain for such entertainment! I would highly recommend for any 2+ who loves Blue!

We love Blue at our house

This is a great Blue doll! It is large and fun to cuddle. I love it as much as my daughter. The nose wasn't stitched very good and is loose but for the most part it is wonderful!

Blue

My two year old son receiced this as a gift. He loves watching Blues Clues and absolutely LOVES this doll. It is very durable, soft and BIG!! He loves to sit in his "thinking chair" with blue and give him hugs. Great buy.

Fun Blue!

I love this Blue Plush! His stuffing is somewhat stiff but this is what helps him sit in the position he is in, but overall he is still soft. He is big but a good size for preschoolers, but much younger than that he might be too big. Also his ears don't have stuffing in them accept at the very top, so the bigger part of his ears aren't real stiff. Lastly the dark spots on Blue are painted on, but are not rough. Overall I think this is a good toy for those who love Blue's Clues.

Blue Dog a hit during show, but that's about it

My 19 month old likes Blue when his show is on, but does not play with him as much as her other toys, probably b/c he is a bit stiff, and can only sit in that one position. Overall well made and big and huggable.

Smaller than I expected.

After reading the reviews on this page it didn't even occur to me that the 17" measurement was from the feet to the top of the head and not from the floor to the top of the head. It is really only about 12" from the floor up. Of course now that I think about it makes sense but I wouldn't have bought a blue of this size for this much money because my son isn't really a big fan of toys. He just loves Blue's Clues. This would be worth it for a child that really loves stuffed animals.

It's a stuffed toy.

My 2 year-old son absolutely loves Blue's Clues, which is why I bought him the stuffed toy. He was excited upon seeing it, but the excitement did not really last very long. What do you expect? "It's a stuffed toy." The quality is very good, though. And while there really isn't too much that you can do with a stuffed toy - hug it, display it - I would buy this again, just because it's cute and well-made... and it really looks like Blue!

No Noise

We bought this for our son's 2nd bday. I thought he would love it because he loves the show. It is very soft and constructed well. I had hoped it would be more plush. Blue's arms, legs and body are very stiff making her hard to play with, and she's too large for my son to just carry around. In this case for us, bigger wasn't better. If I had it to do again, I would have gone with a smaller more plush model.

soft and large

I bought this blue for my son after buying the smaller one and not realizing that it was 6 inches tall. This one is very big and is very soft. You can feel the paint where they painted the darker spots on blue, but it isn't bad. He is still soft and my son loves him.

We love Blues Clues~

My two year old son loves Blues Clues. I rated this item educational, because the show is very educational.
It is very large, not very cuddly. So if you want a cuddle buddy, I would buy a smaller one.
We did my son's playroom in "Blues Clues" decor and it looks great in there!
He really doesn't play with it (like I said-it is quite large) but definitely worth the money.

My daughter loves it!

My daughter just loves watching Blues Clues on TV. I thought that it would be nice to for my daughter to have her very own Blue. Wow!! I must say that I didn't imagine Blue would be THAT large. My daughter is 2 years old and the doll is over half of her height. She struggles to carry Blue around... which is very cute. Blue is very soft and appears very durable.

Good toy for baby!

We gave this to our 8 month old for Easter. He really likes it. It's soft, and the ears are good for chewing on! He likes to sit with it and hug it. Cute!
